What is NMARC?
NMARC was created by student activists. Founded by University of Iowa Student, survivor and advocate/activist Emmalyn Brown, the idea was created for NMARC after male allies asked what could be done to combat rape culture. The answer was to have people talk about it.
Emmalyn can be reached via email at email@example.com.
NMARC is a grassroots movement created for and by survivors and their immediate allies. NMARC is survivor focused, but all inclusive and it is NMARC's immediate aim to open discussions about all components of rape culture from campus rape to toxic masculinity to the high risks that Native American populations in our nation face.
